Join hosts John and Kelly Schroeder on a return horticultural tour to spectacular South Africa.  If you have never been to Africa, you are missing out on one of the most outstanding travel destinations in the world.  Truly, this is a trip that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime.

South Africa is a country renowned for it’s spectacular scenery, unparalleled wildlife and remarkable plant life.  It is a country with world-class, progressive garden centers that are world leaders. It is also home to nurseries that ship unique plant material around the world.

This tour is timed to coincide with the South African spring with it's attendant wildflower displays.  South Africa is a land of exceeding beauty, well known as one of the most horticulturally rich floral kingdoms on earth.  In addition, the Cape region is known world-wide for the quality of it's gardens, fruit, wine and scenery.

Although this trip provides a significant educational and business benefit, participation in the tour also includes a wide range of sightseeing activities.  An optional stay at a luxurious game reserve is also offered to complete this once in a lifetime African experience.  Feedback from our previous tours confirms the safari portion of the trip is a  experience to be remembered and savoured for a lifetime.

Visits will include leading garden centers and nurseries, several botanical gardens and a number of spectacular private gardens.  Tour participants will also meet leading garden and nursery professionals.  John and Kelly Schroeder will be your hosts, utilizing local guides and experts, on this return trip.  The tour is designed for landscape, nursery or garden center professionals.
