Join hosts John and Kelly Schroeder on a horticultural tour to exotic Japan. Famous Zen style gardens, city parks and traditional Japanese landscape gardens will all be seen on this tour, combined with visits to unique and fascinating destinations. Industry visits to growers and retailers, attendance at one of Asia's premier green tradeshows (Gardex), and a special presentation at Suntory Flowers round out the itinerary.
Travelling in a small, escorted group is the ideal way to see Japan. This tour is designed for experiencing Japanese culture, countryside and bustling cities in a relaxed and comfortable style. Travelling with industry professionals is an extra benefit as participants share similar interests.
Autumn is an excellent time to visit Japan, as fall foliage should be in full display, with temperatures very comfortable for travelling. Participants will enjoy the exclusive industry meetings and visits we have arranged with retail and wholesale nurseries.
Suntory Flowers is a world reknowned plant breeding company, with operations in 12 countries, and product lines including Parasol Mandevilla, Million Bells Calibrachoa, Senneti Cineraria and Mai-ko Hydrangea. Our visit and tour of their operations will conclude our horticulture tour on November 18.
